Kangaroo Island Farmers Market: is a popular event with locals and visitors alike, bringing local farmers, growers, bakers, home gardeners and a range of artisan producers together with the Island’s community and visitors, who come to taste and learn about
the ever-growing range of local produce from the producers themselves.

Kangaroo Island Art Feast

October 2nd - 5th 2015

The 13th annual Kangaroo Island Art Feast will take place on the October long weekend this year, and fills galleries and venues across the Island with a feast for the senses: a perfect blend of local food, wine and artworks. Emerging and established artists put forward offerings, and community art sits alongside works from artists of internation renown.

Enjoy a colourful and busy day out at the Kingscote Oval and surrounds with lots of stalls, horses and activities happening.
Wonderful exhibits in the pavilion, lovely food on display as well as the flowers and quilts. Rock Climbing Wall,
Old MacDonald’s Travelling Farm, Island Bounce just to name a few.

Parndana Agricultural Show

Saturday 14th November 2015

A local country show in the hard of Kangaroo Island held annually at the Parndana Sport's Ground,
the Parndana Agricultural, Horticultural and Floricultural Show has a unique look at a small Agricultural community.

Showcasing Agricultural Produce, Horses in action, Shearing, Sheep, Wool, Cookery, Preserves, Flowers, Dog Jumping,
Quilting & Needlework, Pets, Photography, Poultry, Fruit & Vegetables, Art, Honey, Literacy, Young Farmer Challenge and Junior Farmers Challenge. Also holding State Cooking Competitions in Laucke/CWA Scone Competition Semi Finals,
Rich Fruit Cake Semi Finals and the Genoa Cake Semi Finals.

Coopers Kangaroo Island
Cup Carnival


Thursday 18th & Saturday 20th February 2016

The Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup Carnival has become famous for its three-day celebration of racing, entertainment, food, wine and fun in a spectacular Island setting.

The Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup Day - the big one!
Join a crowd of around 5,000 people trackside to celebrate all that is great about country racing as the best horses from far and
wide race for the Coopers Kangaroo Island Cup.

Dress to impress for the Fashions of the Field for your chance to represent the Island at the Fashion at The Races competition in Adelaide, and enjoy a range of entertainment throughout the day.

The Carnival will again be broadcast live around the country on Sky Channel with two fantastic days of racing. Record prizemoney, record nominations and the State's leading jockeys are all expected to make this the best carnival ever.
